Launch of ReD.
ReNew Power’s digital transformation programme was formally launched on 18th September at the ReNew.Hub , coinciding with the Innovation Day celebrations. The launch ceremony was held in the presence of 150 odd ReNewers including some from our various sites and ROs. The event began with a specially produced Audio Visual that encapsulated the fascinating journey of our company so far, and showed how we are now set to adopt digitization to take the next big leap, towards a world class organization.
Our Chairman Message
Following this, our Chairman & Managing Director, Mr Sumant Sinha, addressed ReNewers on the importance of and purpose behind this critical initiative. He explained how going digital would help ReNew achieve maximum efficiency in its operations and take better, data driven business decisions , besides equipping the team with fresh skills and capabilities. Sumant urged the team to have a keen appetite for learning and embrace the changes that digitization would bring upon, for a better future. Post this, the entire core team which included the various Domain Champions as well as Steering Committee members were introduced and asked to share their thoughts.

Logo Unveiling
Finally, the project name and logo was unveiled before an eager audience. ReNewers were asked to suggest a name for this programme and we received around 80 entries in all. Finally, we zeroed in on the name ReD. Which expands to ReNew Digital. The tagline chosen was “Digitize, Optimize, and Monetize”. Ms Vaishali Nigam Sinha explained the concept and rationale behind selecting this name and how it was trendy as well as reflecting ReNew’s ethos while being relevant.
